Community Involvement

March 2021 - Lewiston Rotarians at their finest!

Together with other community members, on a blustery day in March, John joined in to prepare a warm meal for those in our LC Valley who appreciate the opportunity to receive them.  A short time later, the dinners were boxed up in to-go boxes and then passed out by another happy group of Rotarians.

January 2020 - Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting 2020 & Awards Banquet

December 8, 2019 - Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army

In December the Weibler Financial crew plus 5 year old Jane rang the bell for the Salvation Army. The weather was nice, the Christmas music we listened to was so enjoyable, and the people of our Valley were tremendously generous with their donations : )

September 2019 - Leadership LC Valley 5

Inspired and motivated by the experience Christy had in the Leadership LC Valley program, Matt applied for and was enrolled in the next class. The program includes a series of educational days featuring tourism, government & infrastructure, economic development, media, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and non-profits all within our local area.

September 2019 - Volunteering at Punt, Pass & Kick

For many years, our office has volunteered at the Rotary Club's Annual Punt, Pass, & Kick (PPK) event. This competition has been one of the Rotary Clubs largest fundraising activities throuout the year.

Each year several hundred kids throughout the valley participate. 2019 was particulary special though, because Matt's daughter, Jane, got to compete and was awarded 1st place for her age group!

November 2019 - Dutch Oven Cookoff & Kids Hot Dog Decorating Contest Event

This event was organized and put on by the LC Valley Chamber of Commerce.  The volunteer committee, which included Christy, worked many hours planning and organzing to make this 1st annual event a success.

June 2019 - Leadership LC Valley Class 4 - Christy Graduates!

Leadership LC Valley is a 9 month program that cultivates personal & professional leadership skills. This program is unique in that it provides participants with the opportunity to meet & discuss issues with key community leaders. This allows the students to take valuable training from each class and immediately be able to implement these skills moving forward into their community and business workplaces.

May 2019 - Shred it! Event

In May we hosted a "Shred it!" event for clients, local business associates, friends and families. We felt inspired to help the community be able to safely dispose of documents that were no longer needed. Shredding paper not only protects sensitive data from falling into the wrong hands, it's also good for the envirnoment by reducing paper waste and increasing the re-use of paper. The paperwork was professionally shredded by our local LC Valley Recyclers.

April 2019 - Refresh the Valley

LC Valley Chamber of Commerce had their Annual "REFRESH THE VALLEY". The City of Clarkston donated flowers to plant in public designated areas, to brighten up our Valley! Christy and other LC Valley Chamber Ambassadors volunteered to plant flowers at the "Welcome to Clarkston" sign & windmill. We all had a great time even though spring showers were definitely a part of the day! "Bloom where you are planted"

February 2019 - Salvation Army

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen remains as one of our favorite volunteer activities! Here's John taking a moment for a picture with some fellow rotarians volunteering last month.
