It was a great day out in the woods and mushrooms weren’t the only treasures that were found! Matt stumbled upon a large den and was lucky enough to encounter a brave and curious coyote, who spent quite a while playing a game of peekaboo. Overall, it was a fantastic day of morel hunting. I think it is safe to say we’re already looking forward to doing it again. Everyone had their own ideas on the best way to prepare the morels. Some enjoyed them sautéed on their own and others added them into recipes they had.
