Inspired and motivated by the experience Christy had in the Leadership LC Valley program, Matt applied for and was enrolled in the next class. The program includes a series of educational days featuring tourism, government & infrastructure, economic development, media, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and non-profits all within our local area.
Participants are leaders from a wide variety of local business and entities wishing to further develop their knowledge and engagement in our community. Participants acquire a deep awareness of the issues facing our community from prominent senior leaders. They also gain a better understanding of current potential key leadership skills by working on real world projects in teams with tight time frames & limited resources.
The year long program kicked off with a weekend retreat up Hells Canyon that involved lots of fun, networking and relationship building. Plus the group got two see a couple bears on their way up the canyon.
